![]() (Unless you are reaper 17 and you do the stasis devourer shard push) And since patch 1.01, brute strenght isn't a very rewarding way to play in this game. You have to grind your enemy down brutally and efficiently, without any sneaky tricks up your sleeve. VGDI is also a strong faction, but it's ( for me anyway ) harder than vNod because you can't surprise the enemy with a vein detonatoin, a catalyst missile, and one or two stealth tanks and win the game in seconds. You can play Marked Of kane, too, they are like Nod but without laser scorpions (which is bad vs other nod factions and traveler 59, but other than that, not much of a loss) ![]() Their basics are just a little harder to learn. vNod does lose vs reaper on certain maps, and to vGDI on some maps, but all in all, on the most popular map ( tournament decision ) and a load of others, vNod is the best side. When you can get top 200 with reaper I recommend playing vGDI or vNod. Also, if you want to make it really easy (though this will make you a lameass) play on small town usa and tournament tower only and always do that rush. If you get good at this strategy you will easily get top 200 fast. ![]() ![]() Air or infantry = more shardwalkers from you, tanks = more devourer tanks) Get 5 harvesters, attack with devourers, a couple of shardwalkers, and a well-placed stasis shield on top of the enemy army (Scout with buzzers first. Reaper 17 is the easiest faction to play and to learn (though not the strongest faction on all maps) BH however is some easier but they are pretty weak after the tech center Also Nod is a lot more complex than other factions. Because Nod/Marked of kane unit are fragile you need to micro them to survive. ![]() Hi first of all welcome to our community! The best faction to start with is GDI this is one of the best factions in the game and don’t depends very much on micro as nod for an exampleĪn other good faction to start is SCRIN. (I have the Xbox 360 version in case this makes a difference) I found an online guide on Gamefaqs that specified which clans have what new units but for a newbie, this ain't helping much. Ĭould anyone give me a basic idea of what makes each clan different? I tried searching the forums but all I found out was "Steel talon sucks". I played a few solo games against the CPU to get a feel of the game but I do not know what are each faction's strenghs and weaknesses. As i stated in another welcome post, i'm a new C&C player. ![]()
